What's on at the Tate

240 GBP

Crossing the Thames on the Millennium Bridge, the Tate Modern looms on the South bank. I often wonder as I make the journey what exhibitions are on, and will there be something good to see outside. This Original Painting by Cathy Read, "What's on at the Tate", is a view of people crossing the Bridge heading towards the south bank

Framing:
This painting is sold unframed

Dimensions of picture: 39× 29 × 0.2 cm (unframed) / 38× 28 cm (actual image size)

Creation The picture is painted on watercolour paper. Cathy draws the lines with masking fluid to a planned arrangement before painting it with a watercolour wash which gets covered with clingfilm. Once this is removed the picture is further developed using acrylic inks which are left to dry before the masking is removed to reveal the final picture.
