Welcome to my art. Please feel free to ask me about my paintings and how they are made.

Please note I ship my paintings unframed so you can frame them locally as you wish. If you wish me to arrange framing then please message me so we can arrange exactly what you want.

More about me:

I'm a self-taught artist from Manchester. Growing up amidst the decaying mills of the Cotton industry fueled an interest in buildings. I became an artist in 2008 after leaving a successful career in occupational therapy. My paintings were initially portraits and caricatures, then progressed to circle based abstracts. Since 2011, I've been creating paintings of historic and contemporary architecture. Initially inspired by the massive changes seen during visits to Manchester over the years, the subject matter has expanded.

Appearing in the Sky Arts television programme. Landscape Artist of the Year in 2016 was a fantastic experience. Creating a painting in 4 hours, a massive but thoroughly enjoyable challenge..

My painting  process is a bit like cooking a meal and many of the items I use you would find in the kitchen. While allowing my paintings to marinade overnight leads to the final transformation.
I'm  a member of the Society of Women Artists and was awarded the Barbara Tate Memorial Award for my body of work in 2015. I was shortlisted for Artist and Illustrators  Artist of the Year 2017 and received the Wild and Tame award
Based in Buckinghamshire, UK,  I've exhibited and sold work internationally.
